With the exception of the Everest area, this is the most visited trekking area in Nepal. Visit the base camp of Annapurna, the only 8000 meter to have been climbed on the first attempt, but dont let this fool you- This peak is ravaged by avalanches that can be heard and seen frequently from Base Camp.
